wines from Muratie Wine Estate |
I went on both the Thursday and Friday night as there are simply too may wines to try in one go - even though we tried to get through a fair number each night.
There were more than than 400 wines from 75 top Cape Producers - and here are some of my favourites:
Muratie has some amazing wines, including their Pinot Noir and Shiraz |
My wine tasting partner |
Klein Constantia have some amazing whites - we loved the Sauvignon Blanc |
Delaire Graff's Shiraz is a winner :-) |
On to the reds... |
Creation Pinot Noir is to-die-for and their Shiraz is great too |
Bouchard Finlayson Galphin Peak Pinot Noir is a lovely summer red and their Hannibal blend is still one of my favourite red blends. Don't skimp on the chardonnay either - delish! |
We made plans right then and there to try out the new Elgin wine route and stay over in Hermanus |
just look at the delight on my face |
Morgenster 2001 - what a treat! Their Italian range is also worth trying - reds are great for summer |
I'm having waaaaay too much fun! |
Wishing we were actually in the winelands |
Time to call a cab... |
